The hotel’s name “umani” means “humans” in Italian, and the hotel’s concept is based on the belief that the guest experience is the most important thing. During our pleasant meeting Yavor Yankov, the General Manager of Umani Hotel & Beach told us about how they started working with HotelRunner, and their HotelRunner experiences.
“When we were launching our hotel, our strategy was to approach directly to the guests, so we needed a platform to allow us to do that. At this point DES Management introduced HotelRunner to us. HotelRunner’s booking engine facilitated this process for us. We achieved more than 55% of direct bookings through the booking engine.
The thing about HotelRunner is that it is a really advanced and innovative tech company. For example, their new review center allows us to reply to all guest reviews from the same platform. Another thing HotelRunner provides is dynamic pricing which allows us to change rates on a daily basis, depending on our needs which ultimately leads to higher revenue.
If I had a magic wand for the hospitality industry, I would make the industry more accessible to the guests by using more technology with a platform such as HotelRunner.”
